Jaime Munguia will take on unbeaten super-middleweight contender Erik Bazinyan in a 12-round main event at the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona. The fight will be broadcast live on Sky Sports in the early hours of Saturday, September 21.

Top Rank President Todd duBoef praised Munguia as one of Mexico’s elite fighters and highlighted the significance of the upcoming bout against Bazinyan. Bazinyan, an 11-year pro from Armenia who moved to Canada as a teenager, has become a popular attraction in Quebec. He has been a regional champion since 2018 and has fought twice in 2024, including a sixth-round knockout over Ronald Ellis and a 10-round draw with Shakeel Phinn.
Bazinyan expressed his readiness to shock the world and believes he has what it takes to defeat Munguia.
