Pat Brown to Turn Professional After Olympic Heartbreak: ‘I’m Coming for It All!’

GB heavyweight Pat Brown has announced his decision to turn professional following a disappointing exit from the Olympic Games in Paris. Despite his early defeat to Brazil’s Keno Machado, Brown remains optimistic about his future in boxing and is eager to make his mark in the professional ranks.

Brown, who was a newcomer to the international scene but quickly made a name for himself with his powerful, aggressive style, fell short in a close fight against the experienced Machado. Reflecting on the bout, Brown admitted to feeling down but has since found pride in his Olympic journey, noting, “I’ve been chosen out of the whole of Great Britain… It’s definitely a big achievement.”

Looking ahead, Brown is excited about the prospect of a professional career, with dreams of emulating British boxing legend Ricky Hatton by selling out arenas in Manchester. “I’ll be coming for it all,” he declared, promising to bring his signature aggressive style to the pro circuit.

Brown’s transition to professional boxing marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the 92kg fighter, who is determined to leave a lasting impact on the sport.
