Sonnen expressed his eagerness to move past the protective measures ESPN took against Masvidal’s potential confrontation, which he felt was a blow to his pride.
With the Masvidal fight on the horizon, Sonnen views the Silva match as a preparatory step. He anticipates an eight-round boxing match with Masvidal, featuring either 10 or 12-ounce gloves, offering a distinct contrast to their potential MMA encounters.
