The tee times for the PGA Championship 2024 have been announced, revealing some exciting groupings for the tournament at Valhalla.
World No 1 Scottie Scheffler, fresh off his recent victory at The Masters, headlines a notable group alongside fellow major champions Wyndham Clark and Brian Harman. Scheduled to tee off in the afternoon wave at 2:13 PM local time (7:13 PM BST), Scheffler will be aiming to emulate Jordan Spieth’s feat from 2015 by winning the first two majors of the year.
Meanwhile, Spieth himself will be embarking on his quest for the career Grand Slam, joining defending champion Brooks Koepka and Max Homa in an intriguing three-ball, starting at 1:37 PM BST on Thursday.
Rory McIlroy, seeking his third consecutive victory and fifth major title, has been grouped with former world No 1s Dustin Johnson and Justin Rose. Their early-late draw sets the stage for a compelling showcase of talent at the same venue where McIlroy last tasted major success in 2014.
Additionally, club professional Michael Block, who made headlines last year with a memorable hole-in-one alongside McIlroy, will hit the opening tee shot. He will be accompanied by Europe’s Ryder Cup captain Luke Donald and 2003 PGA Championship winner Shaun Micheel.
